I wasn't playing on this tune - was nice to stand and watch the music happen. The DVD is on the way - can't wait to get clips up from this. Enjoy.

The EIU Jazz Alumni event over the weekend was pretty amazing. Alumni spanning the course of 35 years came together to play a concert. While I didn't get any pics of the concert, I did get a few shots from the rehearsal when I wasn't playing, as well as a few shots of friends from the table at dinner. Once audio clips are available, I'll post them up.

I'll be in attendance this Friday and Saturday for an EIU Jazz Alumni weekend. The weekend is to honor my teacher for his many years of teaching (servitude?) to the Music Department. An alumni jam session Friday night after a Percussion Concert. Also heard I was buying the first round of drinks after the session...could be good or bad depending on how many are there. Saturday is the alumni big band rehearsal. Should be amazing. Can't wait to see everyone who will be there. I hope to God that I can get some recordings of this. And just maybe, yours truly will not suck ass. I guess we'll see...
